 Every human being has different hobbies. But what if the hobby becomes a profession! Today I am going to talk about such a person who was not getting any job while he was in his country India. Starting Farming

But after trying a lot, he did not get a good job anywhere. He was very worried because he did not have an income. Mr. Raju loved gardening since childhood. So to further this hobby, he associated himself with planting trees. He said that after that he started gardening with the lotus plants because lotus is one of his favorite flowers.

He brought tubers from outside and started cultivating lotus flowers in his verandah. Then when his plants started to bloom, he started posting pictures of them on social media. From there he started getting orders for the lotus plants. We tell you that Raju did not take any special training for lotus  (Padma) cultivation. He said that he learned to cultivate the Padma only by watching videos on YouTube.

He also brought lotus saplings from Thailand and America. He planted lotuses in pots and plastic containers on the verandah. Those beautiful pictures were shared on social media every day. When people see pictures on their Facebook page, they start interacting with them. Raju said, “Most of the people living in North India approached him for the lotus tree. Then he started sending lotus tubers to the people.

Business & Customers

Most of their customers are from New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Pune. Also, many customers from Palakkad and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala came home and bought plants and pots from them. ” According to him, the demand for trees is much higher than for tubers. So after removing the soil and water from the container for the customers, they pack the tree properly and send it to the buyers.

Experts say that the lotus tree can live up to 12 days and the tuber can live much longer. Raju says he also gives tips to his clients on how to take care of the plants. He further added that gardening is a very beautiful method that gives him peace of mind. Because money will come and go, complacency is the most important.

In this way, by cultivating lotus, one earns about 30 thousand rupees per month. Talking about the price of the lotus tree, these trees are sold for 750 to 3500 rupees. Raju also thanked his family for this, as his family also supported him to work in this new field and his parents and wife also gave him all the necessary support.

Although this field was completely new to Raju because he chose a completely different field when he could not find any job. But even then the family did not stop him but helped him to move forward with his hobbies and skills.
